John Nevil Maskelyne opened the first magic theater in London in 1873.
It was also the age of technical magic.

Twentieth Century
Many magicians became popular from traveling magic trick shows.

Present Time
Many theaters have closed.
Many magicians are broadcast on television to become popular instead of using theaters.
The cups and balls trick is still very popular among professional magicians.
